If I am elected to the Goldsboro City Council, I will push for a long-range growth plan defining how our city embraces growth and its potential. We need economic development that will impact every neighborhood in our city. We need plans for growing our manufacturing and service industries. We need to map out the needs for infrastructure so we can provide clean water and sewer, electrical, solid-waste, and broadband internet for new businesses and industries wanting to locate in our city. We need to help support our existing small businesses – finding niche services that will assist them in succeeding. Finally, we need a stronger voice when it comes to marketing our city. We need to let business and industry and families know what Goldsboro has to offer them. We need to market our city and its potential.
